University of Moratuwa and University of Peradeniya Triumph at XIV SLUG Chess Championships 2023

  In a display of exceptional chess talent and strategic prowess, the University of Moratuwa secured the championship title in the Men's event, while the University of Peradeniya emerged victorious in the Women's event at the XIV SLUG Chess Championships 2023. From September 2nd to 4th, 2023, Eastern University, Sri Lanka, played host to this prestigious chess competition. Organized by the Sri Lanka University Sports Association, the championships were conducted separately for men and women.
